Beachkind Natural Sunscreen is a natural sunscreen that protects your skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation with a mineral filter based on non-nano zinc oxide. Our Zinc Oxide is so-called “Invisible Zinc” which means that you do not get a white film from the sunscreen. The sunscreen is suitable for all skin types, including yours! The sunscreen is full of natural mild oils, butters and waxes, which makes the sunscreen both easy to apply and moisturizing. Among other things, we use sweet almond oil, shea butter, raspberry seed oil and wheat germ oil. We have also chosen to use coconut drying oil as a base which has a low comedogenic index to avoid clogging the pores.

Unlike synthetic sunscreens that absorb the sun’s UV rays, Beachkind uses naturally derived zinc oxide to create a protective layer on the surface of your skin that reflects both UVA and UVB rays.

Beachkind’s sunscreen also meets the requirements to be classified as a so-called “Reef Safe” sunscreen. Free from ingredients such as Oxybenzone/Benzophone-3, Octinoxate, Avobenzone and Octocrylene which are banned in sunscreens in Hawaii and in marine reserves in several plastic areas around the world, but also microplastics and nanoparticles. In addition, the formula is water-resistant so that as little sunscreen as possible ends up in the water.

Recommended use

Generally, 2 mg/ ^cm2 of skin should be used. General recommendation for a full body application for an adult is 30-50 ml, or a handful. General application to the face and neck/décolleté for an adult is 5-10 ml, or about a teaspoon.

Application: Shake the sunscreen. For best results, we recommend that you first apply small dabs of the cream to your skin. Then spread it in circular motions to a thin, even and almost invisible layer on your skin. Apply sunscreen generously before sun exposure. Reapply every two hours or after sweating and bathing/drying. Avoid contact with eyes. Remember that the sun dries out, be sure to wash off the sunscreen and moisturize your skin in the evening with an After Sun or skin lotion.
