The Ayurvedic view of balance

Trikatu contains the classic blend of three herbs to support metabolism in Ayurveda: black pepper, long pepper and ginger.

Trikatu is an Ayurvedic formulation to create balance for Vata and Kapha imbalances such as digestive anomalies, respiratory problems, inflammatory conditions, liver disorders, various infections, sexual and reproductive irregularities, hypercholesteremia, sluggish metabolism and obesity.

Trikatu works mainly by stimulating ‘Agni’ i.e. digestive fire, improving the absorption of nutrients in the body and reducing Kapha. It is also known as a renewer and tonic which helps in calming the aggravated Kapha in the respiratory and digestive tract and also regulates the path of Vata, reducing bloating and abdominal distension.
